This is a superfood smoothie! Packed with the goodness of New Zealand Sujon Blackcurrant Powder, its great for muscle recovery and aiding sports performance. So you could whip one up before or after exercise and it also makes a great breakfast or even mid–afternoon snack, whichever takes your fancy!

Serves 3 / Time to make: 5 minutes

YUMO! Enjoy this beautifully pink smoothie with Sujon’s Blackcurrant Powder, which contains 20 blackcurrants in just one teaspoon.

1 ½ cups of milk, coconut milk or almond milk

2 tsp Sujon Blackcurrant Powder

1 large ripe banana, peeled and chopped

1 kiwifruit, peeled and chopped

2 cups of spinach

½ cup yoghurt or ½ an avocado

2 teaspoons chia seeds

½ cup ice cubes


Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until mixture is thick, smooth and creamy.  Divide smoothie between three glasses.  Serve immediately
